Users can earn experience points and money by helping their friends’ farms. Users are able to give neighbor invitations to their Facebook friends. Every friend that joins becomes your neighbor. Users have the ability to go over to their neighbors’ plantations. Users are allowed to gain points by helping run off foxes and/or fertilizing plants.

Just as Facebook gives an opportunity to talk to friends, Facebook applications provide a fun way to relax. Facebook’s Farmville will let you buy crops, watch them grow, and to sell them. Selling crops allows you to earn money for farm equipment, decorations, animals, and even to buy a bigger farm.
