Earn FarmVille Ribbons Quickly With These Tips

February 25th, 2010 Caroline Page No comments

The different ribbons you can bring in while playing FarmVille could be somewhat easily overlook and could also be undervalued. Anyway in the end, you get nearly all of them by basically doing the things that you need to do in the game. There are ribbons that are so simple to earn like ribbons for plowing or harvesting various types of crops, or spending your farm cash at the market. But the bonuses that come when you gain these ribbons are not tiny, so you can actually make these gaining ribbons a primacy, thus earn big time bonus. This is a lot simpler than it sounds, and acceptably deserving with little measure of effort it needs.

Targeting Your Accomplishments

Certainly, if you will be toiling on increasing your ribbons, you must know what you need to do to earn them. You can discover them easily by just ticking on the ribbon icon which is found at the bottom part of the screen. This will pop up a new window allowing you to read in detail the numerous types of ribbons that are obtainable and know what you need to do to earn them.

Complementary Sets

Some of the accomplishments rewarded by ribbons are complimentary, but some others are not. For example, you can earn ribbons by harvesting a certain number of vegetable crops, and another by harvesting a certain number of fruit crops. Because you only have a limited amount of space to devote to your crops, it’s best if you focus on one of these achievements first, and then shift to the other. Trying to split your resources between the two will only make it harder for you to accomplish both of them.

Then again, a few freestanding ribbons are complementary. For instance, the ribbon you get from spending your farm money in the store, or the ribbon you gain by possessing a specific number of decorations. Spending money and owning some decorations are done simultaneously that also make you earn separate ribbons for doing both of these activities.

A Winning Arrangement

Your farm arrangement or layout can make you earn more ribbons speedily. For Example, if your goal is to aim for some ribbons that are relevant to planting and harvesting crops, your farm space must be maximized to plowed field. After you are done with it and have accomplished your goal, you can modify your layout to indicate your new objectives. You may not want to remove all your plowed fields, but you can at least get enough space to arrange your new goals and accomplish it in no time.

Giving out in the Wealth

Since you can share the wealth with your friends every time you earn a ribbon, you should be sure to take advantage of all of the bonuses you can earn when your friends collect ribbons as well. Checking your news feed frequently for your friends’ announcements and clicking on the link to collect the bonus they’re offering is a great way to earn some extra coins and get ahead in FarmVille fast. Just make sure you’re offering the bonuses to them as well so that they share with you every time they can.

WoW PvP Guide – WoW PvP Tips For A Successful Arena Gameplay

February 5th, 2010 Jeremy Musterman No comments

A WoW PvP guide was my friend when I decided to start this part of World of Warcraft content. Indeed, I got bored of raiding and instances and I wanted to try something new. Losing 82 matches from 100 wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. My team mates kicked me calling me names. However, this WoW PvP guide really showed me the path for becoming a top arena player. Therefore, I’m going to share a few tips here.

1. The first thing to know about WoW PvP arena is that no matter how good you are, it’s always the team that matters. Individually, all the players in a team might have exceptional PvP skills but the team migh suck due to a lack of team work. So, don’t leave a team just after 5-6 matches. Give it a little time, so that you and your team mate would learn to play as a team.

2. The equipment has a crucial role for a player’s success in arena. So, make sure you build up as much resilience, critical chance and attack power or spell power, cutting off the PvE stats like expertise, hit rating or haste rating. Also the talent build you’re using must be PvP oriented. This WoW PvP guide has taught me though, everything I needed to know on these aspects, concerning my class.

3. Arena skirmish games are a good way to hone your WoW PvP skills. This way you’ll be able to understand your role better in any team. Winning a skirmish match is not important as you won’t lose any points. Your goal in skirmishes is to play your part in any team as good as possible. Also, by getting involved in many skirmish games or duels, you’ll become aware about all the other classes spells and abilities and this way you’ll learn how to manage your cooldowns better in any fight.

There are just a few tips for beginners. However, if you want to become a top class arena player or if you’re just can’t get rid of the lousy 1100 arena rating, I can only recommend this WoW PvP guide that I’ve been using. It worked 100% for me and I’m sure it will help you a lot. Besides, it’s risk free.

Here’s the WoW PvP Guide I’ve been speaking about. Also, you can find more info on this WoW PvP Guide, here.

Flash Games – How To Develop Browser Games

January 20th, 2010 Billy Deakin No comments

There has been a real explosion in the popularity of Flash games in recent years. While demand has shot up, the number of developers on the scene has only risen by a relatively small percentage. Part of the reason for this is that developing games for the Flash platform requires quite a diverse range of skills. A good developer needs to be competent in Flash and Actionscript with solid programming practices, graphical skills, audio skills, a methodical and analytical approach, and the patience of a saint. Here is a guide to how the average developer tackles a games project.

Games are quite complex applications. Not only is the game specific code quite unique (you won’t see path finding algorithms, or collision detection in an office app!) but they tend to have lots of extras like game over screens, and pregame animations which all add to the amount of work and time required to develop them. So the only way to develop a game methodically is to start with a solid written design, and then a list of required assets (graphics, audio etc.) and only then should you consider starting to code.

The first step once the design is completed it to create a mock-up – an outline demo in Flash using placeholder graphics, which can be used to test and develop the game logic. Once that is nearing completion you can begin to start adding graphical assets and audio. It’s a good idea to leave out all extras at this stage however. Things like splash screens and mid-level animations can slow testing down considerably, so leave them for the beta version.

Once the game reaches the later stages of development, when the game engine is mostly complete and tested, the final touches can be added. Introductions, help screens, preloaders and game over screens should all be added at this point. Leaving these until now means that testing is quicker, with less clicks, keypresses or waiting is required to restart levels or replay the game. Then finally you’ll have a completed game, ready for final beta testing. Even though we started with a complex project, by breaking the design and development process down into bite sized chunks it became manageable.

If you’re just getting started with Flash game development then I highly recommend modifying an existing game, and perhaps adding new levels or extra features, before tackling your own entire game from scratch. That will build your confidence and give you the experience needed to take on larger project in the future. Learn the skills one step at a time, and before long you’ll be building the next blockbuster!

Horde Leveling Guide – Leveling Tips For Horde Players

November 23rd, 2009 Mark M. Fulke No comments

A Horde leveling guide can be very helpful if you are looking for fast ways to get to the top of World of Warcraft, on the Horde side, of course. The one I’ve been using not only that it provided me with the best leveling paths for all three expansions, it also showed me quite a few tips and tricks to increase my leveling speed.

So, in this article, I’m going share a few of the tips this excellent Horde leveling guide has taught me, for questing and grinding.

Horde Leveling Guide – Tips For Quests

1. Never do quests that have a higher level than your character unless you are 100% sure that you can finish them fast.

2. It’s best to finish a high number of quests at one time and only after to run back to the NPCs and turn them all in. This will save you a lot of time.

3. Don’t waste your time with elite quests. These usually require help, and you will lose time looking for it especially if you are on a server with a low player population.

Horde Leveling Guide – Grinding Tips

1. Heirloom items are very important if you are leveling a character not just for grinding but for questing as well.

2. If you’re grinding for XP, try always grind on humanoid mobs. They usually have a nice loot table as well and you will make nice cash.

3. Use AoE and kill as many mobs as you can at one time. However try not dying at all, because you will lose time and XP, of course.

These tips should help anyone improve their leveling progress. However, as the Horde leveling guide I’ve been using has an excellent leveling path, I suggest that any horde player should at least take a look at it. After all, it’s risk free.

This is the Horde Leveling Guide I’ve been talking about, and here is a place where you can find more info about this excellent Horde Leveling Guide if you want.

Unlocking All Mafia Wars Secrets

October 26th, 2009 Neil Holloway No comments

It is essential as you continue to build your growing Mafia family to be certain that you place your best and most accomplished family members in key positions that will advance your entire team. As you assign key players keep in mind they are not for the newest and least accomplished players in your Mafia team. As a boss you need to ask your best players to continue to work together to gain increased results so that money will grow for everyone. I’m going to reveal six key secrets that will strengthen your Mafia family.

Mastermind – Select a family member that has already several jobs finished to promote to Mastermind so that the player can get even more experience points from doing key jobs. This new Mastermind will gain a chance of gaining up to 50% more experience when performing these new jobs.

Wheelman – Start by choosing the position by looking for a winning member that has a Fearless character type. By doing this your new Wheelman will have a reduce energy cost for specific jobs. This position gains a much greater chance to perform specific jobs using no energy at all.

Button Man – This is a brand new position that needs to be filled the right way. Start by finding a key member with the specific Maniac character type including a higher level to promote. Do this so they can receive an Attack bonus. Your new Button Man in your family will gain a small chance to win fights as they start them.

Bodyguard – This character is somewhat obvious that you need in your family. You need to find the right family member that has a huge amount of successful fights to promote to the position of Bodyguard. Assigning this role will give your Bodyguard a huge chance to always win fights when they are attacked.

Safecracker – Every family should have a group of guys that are great at robbing. Find your favorite member that has a lot of successful heists completed and promote to Safecracker. By doing this it enables your team to get more money when they are fighting and robbing. This gives the new Safecracker a huge ability to gain double the money while robbing and fighting.

Bagman – Continuing to assign and fill important positions you now need to find the key character with a high Mogul character type and promote this person to Bagman which opens up more money in jobs. By doing this move your Bagman will increase his ability greatly to double the money he earns while doing new jobs.
