Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Press the power button and grab your controls. After the game is done loading you will notice that the graphics are real good, but is this the only part of this game that is interesting?

You will also be pleasantly surprised that the in-game cut scenes look good. But the voice acting is not of the high quality as the graphics.

To add depth to the game the developers added sixteen potions that you need to learn in order to complete the game. There are also spells that you need to master.

As you can imagine, the story in this game is kept to a minimum. If you want to know the more about the story, get the book or watch the movie.

The Nintendo Wii has the best version of this game. It has come out on many of the consoles and even on the handhelds.

There are over 100 crests available that you can collect, but it is not necessary to collect any of them. This adds replay value to the game.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

This game feels like an adventure, because you get to learn spells, solve many puzzles, battle, and explore different areas. This game also takes quite a while to finish.

The graphics are not that great, but it does look good enough that it is not bland. The cutscenes on the other hand are terrible. The voice acting is horrible, also.

As with the previous game, players do not play the game for the story. They play it to be emerged in the Harry Potter world.

The game controls is where this game truly shines. If you have played any of the 3D Zelda games, then you know what to expect. It is a good thing that the developers basically copied from the best.

These two games are the best Harry Potter games to date. Many more will be developed and we will review those in the future.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The story is of course directly taken from the movie, but many changes have been made. The game play is about exploring, solving puzzles and fighting enemies. There are eight spells you need to learn. Many times you will have to do tasks to learn the basics of the game.

The graphics is nothing to be talk about, but they get the job done. The music on the other hand is quite good and fits in with the certain levels you are in.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

The entire game takes place at Hogwarts. It is a linear game and cutscenes are in black and white. You can run, jump and use your magic stick to perform spells.

The game contains classroom sessions where you have to complete the task to learn a new spell. These spells are very handy and mandatory to get the job done.

The graphics of the game get the job done, but the cut scenes are not that great.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The developers have all the tools and data to make a great game. They could have drawn more inspiration from the movie, but they did a okay job on this game. If they had more time they could have made it more fun.

The gameplay and controls of this game is clumsy and sluggish. They could have spent more time fine tuning and tweaking the controls to make it easier to explore the Harry Potter world.

What is good about the game play is the spells that you obtain and use throughout the game. It is very fun when you get a new spell and see the various ways in how you are able to use it.

Looking at the most played Harry Potter games, you will start to wonder how much more fun they could have been if the developers spent more time on them.
